IT STARTED WITH PARTIES AND A CONCERT.
Our story began with us recognizing the power that music, a house and some music had over our friends. As college students, we saw that it was quite simple to engage our peers, just make it fun, and relevant to them (us). As students, we were majoring in marketing, and began to align the marketing strategies we were learning about, with the knowledge of our peers, and became aware of the cultural similarities that were among our age demographic around the world.
Through our "work" (parties) on campus, the opportunity came to produce a concert. This was in 2012, and one of the most popular rising stars was School Boy Q, so we booked him and hosted our first concert at Atlanta's Center Stage, The Loft.
This is was the beginning. Below, are a few highlights from our journey, to the Unite Initiative Corp. you have today.

In February of 2012, we hosted our impactful Unite Concert, headlined by the renowned recording artist School Boy Q. With a strong focus on addressing homelessness, we encouraged attendees to contribute either a $5 donation or canned goods for entry.
Every single dollar and canned item collected during the event was dedicated to supporting our community partner in Atlanta, Hosea Feeds The Homeless.
The success of this event exemplifies the power of collective action and community engagement. Together, we can drive meaningful change and create a more inclusive society for all.
PAPA JOHNS RELIEF AT THE POLLS
In an effort to alleviate the challenges of long lines at polling locations, we partnered with the Atlanta Entertainment Basketball League (AEBL) and Papa John's to offer free pizza to community residents across Atlanta.
Recognizing the need for sustenance and hydration during the extended wait times, our dedicated network of Unite volunteers distributed water and over 100 pizzas at various polling locations throughout the city, particularly as voters endured hours of waiting in the Georgia heat.
Through our "Relief at the Polls" activation, we were able to make a tangible impact. We reached out to seven communities and polling locations in Atlanta, providing nourishment and refreshment to residents during the voting process.
Over 100 pizzas were distributed, ensuring that individuals could stay energized and focused as they exercised their right to vote.

SUPER BOWL KICK-BACK & COLLECTION DRIVE
In 2019, we organized a Superbowl Kick-Back event in Atlanta, bringing together our Atlanta creator network to celebrate the city's Superbowl festivities. As part of this gathering, we collaborated with Papa John's to provide delicious food, and Coca-Cola to offer snacks and beverages, creating a festive atmosphere in preparation for the upcoming Superbowl activities.
However, our event was more than just a celebration. We leveraged this opportunity to give back to our community. Attendees were requested to bring food, blankets, and other essential supplies as their entry fee. These generous contributions were collected and dedicated to supporting the homeless community in Atlanta.

UNITY IN ACTION: COMMUNITY CLEAN-UP's
As a central part of our ongoing 2022 Unity In Action campaign, we organized monthly community clean-ups in Atlanta, targeting various neighborhoods throughout the city. These clean-ups were conducted in collaboration with the City of Atlanta and the Keep Atlanta Beautiful Commission, bringing together a diverse group of individuals committed to making a difference.
Each month, we rallied over 100 of our Atlanta creator network, calling upon their passion and dedication to join us on the streets for the clean-up activities. Together, we rolled up our sleeves, picked up trash, and beautified different areas within the community. Volunteers were treated to complimentary tacos and/or personal pizzas, creating a festive and rewarding atmosphere as we worked together to make a positive impact.
A HISTORY OF CREATIVELY CULTIVATING CHANGE WITHIN OUR COMMUNITY.
